Now this is rather cool and fancy!
Growing up my Dad would always go on about Bolex 16mm cameras and how sought after and great they were. Well looks like the camera is making a return with the introduction of a digital bolex!
Joe Rubinstein and Elle Schneider over at DigitalBolex have created and are testing a prototype of the camera and are now looking to fund the production of the cameras through Kickstarter. (click to pledge and support the project!)
The digital Bolex shoots on a frame size equivalent to the 16mm frame which records in 2K Raw that is uncompressed unlike your standard digital recording systems!
This is something to look out for and sounds like it will be rather inexpensive to purchase.
Mind boggling!!
