CAPTURED TEASER
THE SUMMIT is Scheffilm Productions first official short film teaming Lucas Scheffel and Julie Dickson together in a directing and producing role. The film was written by Julie who based the story around true events namely the ghosts and past of the South Australian town of Kapunda.
The story follows two hip-hop artists and their girlfriends on a road trip to a gig. On the journey the group decided to stop off at a small town called The Summit where they uncover some dark and ill secrets.
The production was extremely fortunate to have on board a well known Gaffer by the name of Yuda Tatarko who has worked on some well known Hollywood films such as Rambo III and has worked with Steven Segal.
In 2010 The Summit was selected in the official lineup of the 11th Melbourne Underground Film Festival (MUFF).
