At the start of October I had the opportunity to work on a short film called 'Fighting Chance' written and directed by Matt Mirams and produced by Rose Damon.  The film is a Bioscope Films production.

I worked on the short film as camera assistant and B cam operator under DP Rayner Cook.

It was great to meet some new people and network with industry professionals here in Melbourne.  It was also a chance for me to get back into assisting on set and refreshing myself on the mechanics of running a large set with everyone having their set roles.  Was a little bit of a change for me as I am so used to rolling over into two or three roles on my own productions.

The short film will be out in January 2013. Stay tuned...
