Over the last five days we have been travelling around the Byron Bay hinterland in northern New South Wales here in Australia.
Our first stop saw us visit and film the Mullum Sari Health Retreat & Medi Spa in Mullumbimby. We were very welcomed by Vicki, Mike and the rest of the gang at Mullum Sari who treated us to a nice stay at their exquisite resort style accommodation called, The Manse.
We also experienced and filmed the holistic healing centre, yoga and high end Holistic Gym at the Mullum Sari facilities.
This episode in the series is currently in post production as we speak. Once again I shot this episode on my Canon 5D Mark II, recording sound on the Rode NTG-2 shot gun mic, this time I had a Rode VideoMic with me and also a new toy. A portable Manfrotto LED light which I mounted to the hot shoe of the 5D, this light surprisingly gave extra lift to shots that were in need of some punch. The Manfrotto light is daylight balanced, runs on AAA batteries and has a switch/knob to dim the intensity of the light. More on this light to follow on my filmmaking site FilmFaculty.com
